
The FVCV will set up an inclusive sailing access point to the sea at the Valencia Boat Show
- From 23 to 27 October the Federació de Vela de la Comunitat Valenciana will offer various activities included in the boat show.
The Federació de Vela de la Comunitat Valenciana (FVCV) will once again take an active part in the Valencia Boat Show 2024, which will be held from 23 to 27 October at La Marina de València.
During the event, the FVCV will offer a series of activities, both at sea and on land, organised from 23 to 27 October.
With the common aim of promoting sailing and disseminating sailing among Valencians and visitors, both entities signed an agreement whereby the Federation becomes a partner of the boat show and will be present through various events.
The first event will take place on Wednesday 23 October with the presentation of the new CeTDV season.
Inclusive sailing access point and blue pennant award ceremony
On Saturday morning, 25th October, the Federació de Vela de la Comunitat Valenciana will set up an inclusive sailing access point on the dock. It will transport one of its collective boats, and in shifts of 4 people, will offer an inclusive sailing activity to allow all citizens to go sailing. This is an initiative that seeks to promote inclusion in the sport of sailing. This activity will be open from Friday 25th to Sunday 27th October.
At the same time, this access point will be a space for information about the Network of Approved Sailing Schools so that all visitors can find out about the wide network and variety of activities on offer 365 days a year.
In the afternoon, in the Tinglado, the presentation of the Blue Pennants of the Network of Approved Sailing Schools of the CV will take place. The Blue Pennants are the distinction and recognition to those Sailing Schools of the Valencian Community that, during the season, have complied with the methodology of the Blue School Project betting and promoting the care of the environment.
The event will begin at 18.00h and will end with the signing of a collaboration agreement with the Federation of Adapted Sports of the Valencian Community (FESA) as well as the presentation of the new FESA-FVCV Adapted Sailing project.
Sailing concentration on 26th October
On Saturday morning, 26th October, the FVCV will prepare a School Half Marathon with the participation of the students of the autumn course. This morning activity will take place in the Dársena Interior and is designed to promote the maritime spirit and the practice of sport among the youngest.
