Valencia Boat Show, the València boat show, has confirmed that it will hold its 15th edition from 23rd to 27th October at La Marina de València. The show will be held at the end of October, being the last show of the year on the Mediterranean circuit, and therefore the last opportunity to purchase a new boat to be delivered in spring/summer.
A show with sea trials
In addition to the climate, moderate prices and the city’s attractive leisure offer, one of the show’s great attractions is undoubtedly the possibility – for potential buyers – of visiting the boats afloat and testing them at sea, thanks to the privileged infrastructure offered by La Marina de València.Leisure, water sports and sustainability
In its fifteen editions, the Valencia Boat Show has also become an essential event for all those who are looking for leisure and water sports, as well as for lovers of the sea in all its aspects. The event will once again have an area open to the public and free of charge, where sporting events, schools, clubs, marinas, marinas, federations and associations will be on display, with a large section dedicated to nautical tourism, which will play a special role in this edition.
Also open to the public will be the area dedicated to nautical activities, which will include proposals for charters, water sports, jet skis and sailing clubs, as well as a special area dedicated to sustainability, one of the major challenges facing the sector, where visitors will be able to find options for electric motorisation, solutions for port facilities and new forms of energy, among others.
As in recent editions, access to the boat exhibition and sales area will be by payment or by invitation, where the latest innovations from the main shipyards, as well as engines, electronics and accessories, will be on display.
Isabel Gil, new director
The management of the Valencia Show has taken a new direction under Isabel Gil, president of the Union of Nautical Companies, who has taken over the baton with the clear objective of consolidating the event on the international calendar, and making it an important business generator for the city, in a historic year for the Spanish nautical industry.“This event, organised by the Valencian employers’ association, shows the city’s potential as a key destination for nautical events. For five days, visitors to the Valencia Boat Show will find boats of different types, nautical tourism, sport, gastronomy, training, innovation, culture and, of course, sustainability,” says Gil.
The Valencia Boat Show is organised by the Unión de Empresas Náuticas (UEN) with the support of the Port Authority of Valencia and La Marina de València.
