The Valencia Boat Show announces the incorporation of Valencia Mar, the city’s youngest Valencian marine, as co-organiser of the boat show, which will be held from 23 to 27 October with the presence of the main brands in the sector.
The event, promoted by the Unión de Empresas Náuticas (UEN), the sector’s employers’ association, will be organised in 2024 by the events company Quicksail, winner of the project competition launched by the UEN, and Valencia Mar, which is extending its commitment to the event, of which it has been a sponsor since 2018.
“After accompanying the Valencia Boat Show for four consecutive years as a sponsor, we want to take another step forward in our alliance and contribute our experience and knowledge in marina management, to provide a strategic boost to this outstanding event in the city of Valencia in a decisive year for the nautical sector,” assures Gustavo Benavent, manager of Valencia Mar, who also has 10 years’ experience in the management of La Marina de València.
Another of Valencia Mar’s objectives with this alliance is to position itself as a reference point for both locals and visitors, giving visibility to its wide range of services for boats, nautical leisure activities and its 450 moorings for boats between 8 and 120 metres in length equipped with fingers.
The Valencian marine dock, founded in 2018 and located just ten minutes from the city centre, is part of the business group responsible for the management of several of the leading marinas in the Mediterranean such as Puerto Portals, Formentera Mar and Marina la Savina.
A commitment to industrial nautical activities
After its consolidation in the field of leisure and nautical tourism, the Valencia Boat Show is embarking on a path of specialisation in the sector of marinas and ports and the industry related to them. “From the Union of Nautical Companies we want to promote the Valencia Boat Show as a meeting point for the nautical sector in which industry, marinas and ports, innovation, leisure, tourism and sport converge, always with sustainability as the driving force,” says Isabel Gil, president of the Union of Nautical Companies and director of the Valencia Boat Show.“I believe that the incorporation of Valencia Mar into the organisation of the Valencia Boat Show makes perfect sense, as it provides us with great value in a key point of our strategy: the promotion of marinas and ports, natural environments for boats and nautical companies. This reinforces our firm commitment to value our facilities, our territory and our business network as a reference”, adds Gil.

In addition to the exhibition and sale of boats, the Valencian show will also feature all kinds of nautical companies, from boat rentals, nautical activities, clubs and schools, to companies in the national industrial sector such as sailboats, accessories, ports and marinas, electronics and of course, including an area dedicated to sustainability, one of the challenges facing the sector today.
Associations such as ANPPER, the National Association of Professional Yacht Patrons, which brings together all kinds of professional skippers and other nautical qualifications, and large companies such as Freedom Boat Club, the largest members-only yacht club in the world, have already registered for the event.
Nautical and maritime activities for all tastes will once again be on offer at the Valencia Boat Show, which returns with the slogan “come to the sea”.
