About this exhibitor
Located in the heart of Valencia, CLC Arte Gallery specialises in the selection of artworks for luxury yachts, exclusive interiors and distinctive spaces. The gallery works with contemporary artists to develop bespoke art proposals in dialogue with the architecture, design and identity of each space, collaborating with owners, interior designers and professionals in the yachting world to integrate art as a distinctive and essential element on board. As part of the Valencia Boat Show, CLC Arte presents Horizons of Light, an exhibition bringing together two contemporary approaches to the same landscape: the sea. The exhibition establishes a dialogue between Alejandra Gandía-Blasco’s Sunsets and Sunrises at Sea series and Manu Iranzo’s Seas—two perspectives that, through different artistic languages, explore light, the horizon, perception and memory. In Gandía-Blasco’s work, the natural light of sunrise and sunset transforms the landscape into a succession of chromatic fields, where the horizon approaches abstraction and each image captures the fleeting nature of a single moment. Her practice draws on an extensive photographic archive of sunrises and sunsets, transforming light, colour and the passage of time into an evocative visual language. Iranzo, meanwhile, approaches the sea through drawing and graphite, stripping it of colour to focus the gaze on form, texture and that which remains in memory. His work invites a slower, more contemplative encounter with the landscape, reducing it to its essential elements. Two languages, two ways of seeing, and a single horizon: the sea as a space for contemplation, perception and transformation. The exhibition establishes a natural connection between contemporary art and the world of yachting, where the sea is not simply a landscape, but also a space of experience, movement and memory. An exhibition by CLC Arte, presented as part of the Valencia Boat Show.
